Special Occasions By Paulette is an independent online boutique based in St. Louis, Missouri. We choose elegant dresses for weddings, galas and parties — for the mothers of the couple, the guests and everyone with a special night ahead — and ship them free across the U.S.

How we choose

We look for dresses that make an occasion feel like one: fabrics that drape and move well, cuts that flatter different body shapes, and lengths that suit the dress code. Satin and chiffon for evening gowns, lace and crepe with sleeves for mothers of the couple, knee-length and midi styles for cocktail weddings, and sequins and velvet for the nights that sparkle.

Every product page lists the fabric, length, sleeves and a size guide with body measurements, so you can choose with confidence before you order. We do not sell bridal gowns — we dress everyone else at the celebration.

Fair prices, no surprises

A special occasion should not come with a stressful bill. We keep prices honest and include free U.S. shipping on every order, so the price you see is the price you pay — and many of our dresses are under $100.

We are a small online shop, so we keep things simple: clear photos, clear sizes, quick email answers about fit and dress codes, and an easy 30-day return window for unworn dresses with tags attached.
